Celebrating Excellence in Education: Honoring Buffy Young and Nancy Weis

We had the distinct honor of attending the Clermont County Celebration of Excellence in Education, a special evening dedicated to recognizing the outstanding contributions of educators and support staff across the county. It was a night filled with pride and gratitude as we celebrated two exceptional members of our Grant Career Center and Williamsburg educational communities.
We are thrilled to congratulate Buffy Young, who was recognized for Excellence in Educational Support. Buffy has faithfully served as an Administrative Assistant for the past six years at Grant Career Center, and her impact stretches even further—she has been a vital part of the Williamsburg school community for 12 years. Her organizational skills, professionalism, and constant willingness to go above and beyond make her an irreplaceable part of our team. Buffy’s dedication behind the scenes ensures our school runs smoothly and that staff and students alike are supported every step of the way.
We also celebrate Nancy Weis, who received the award for Excellence in Education – Teaching. Nancy is in her 18th year of teaching advanced science classes at Grant Career Center, where her passion for education and deep commitment to student success shine through every day. Prior to joining Grant, she taught for six years at Bethel High School, bringing her total years of teaching experience to an impressive 24. Nancy’s expertise, enthusiasm, and unwavering belief in her students have made a lasting impact in countless lives.
Both Buffy and Nancy embody the spirit of excellence in education, and we are incredibly proud to have them as part of our school family. Their recognition is well-deserved, and their stories are a reminder of the powerful difference that dedicated professionals make in our schools.
